Artist Bio
With an extensive background in music and audio, producer/instrumentalist Chris Guy takes listeners to new and exciting levels through a myriad of styles. Inspired by elements of Hip Hop, Funk, Jazz, Electronica, and Rock (to name a few), his own musical sound is one that is ever evolving and eclectic.
Main musical projects include the funky fusion duo Clev&LinX and the ongoing (yet to be named) super group, featuring lead-vocalist Nikki Gallos. His work as a producer/session player has landed him credits on platinum selling records spanning a whole range of musical genres.
Chris has recently delved into film music and his work has screened on national television and at over 30 film festivals worldwide. His compositions in the acclaimed films, “7 to 11 Indian", “Fade to Black" and the award winning, “A Girl Named Kai" have been very well received. His current film projects are sound design and mixing for “The Corporation" DVD and the music score for the controversial documentary, “Brocket 99 - Rockin’ the Country" set to be released early 2006.
