Artist Bio
Torul, producer and DJ from Ljubljana, Slovenia, has been actively involved with music since 1992, when he started writing and producing music with his mate Alenia after playing piano for several years. They formed Clox project and released several records.
Influenced by contemporary techno-electro and other club music as well as IDM and loads of other non-electronic music, first release saw light in 1994 on Matrix Musik label.
There were several more releases from pure techno, acid house and tech-house to more experimental stuff, when he started as solo as Torul.
He continued producing and releasing as Torul and other pseudonyms at labels like Low Spirit (Mayday, Love Parade) - Berlin, Thule Musik - Reykjavik, Force Inc - Frankfurt, Touch Tone, Compressed, Absense -Slovenia, varying between techno and electroclash, Dj-ing and playing live.
In 2004 Torul worked at SAE Institute, but apart from the interesting experience, the job was a big gap between academic and artistic side meaning only no time was left for his own production at that time.
Torul now tends to work with other producers and solo artists, always looking for solid production team.
