Jay Douglas lives in sunny Vancouver, BC. He lives for playing and producing house music. In a time when most clubs are playing top 40 remixes, Jay is bent on providing spaces where people unhappy with the filler and fodder can go hear the real deal.

Jay is heavily influenced by the sound of Chicago.

Big name Dj's like Sneak, Phill Weeks, Miss Honey Dijon and DJ Heather (the list can go on and on) continue to inspire him in his efforts.

After a few years away from the clubs, Jay can be found playing nights like SPIT (http://www.spitparty.ca) and JACK! (http://jackthehouse.wordpress.com) around Vancouver's east side.

He also plays at 1181 (http://www.1181.ca) from time to time.

Jay's working on releasing some of his own material in 2012, so keep on a lookout!
