Kick It!

At the very center of many a great dance floor stormer is the relentless four to the floor pulse. That simple kick drum pattern has been keeping people going all night well before Disco happened, we just learned to recognize it during that era.

A great sounding kick drum is essential to any nice drum beat really, it's the foot the music walks on. Bass is the answer!

audioBase.com artist, SkintLoops presents a duo of loop-packs featuring some very serious kick drums for all sorts of styles and genres. Essential for any true beat-maker out there!

Techno Inspiration

With two decades behind a mixing desk and more behind a DJ mixer, it's safe to say Paul Mac is a certified veteran and mainstay of the UK techno scene. His releases on labels like Mosiac, Primate, and Sino are often regarded as classics in the genre, as is his "Killa Bite" project with Ben Sims.

Stimulus is Paul Mac's own imprint and features a range of techno based sounds, both hard and deep, from Paul and a roster of both familiar and lesser known names, all high quality.

"Inspiration Techniques" is a five volume set of loops from the studio of Paul Mac himself, and features driving percussion, rolling bass grooves, and the pure techno synth tweakage you would expect from an experienced producer with a large catalog of releases.

Papas St Germain

Papas St Germain is the artist behind two fantastic and engaging loop-packs, "Harmonic Beasts Discordant Melodies" and "Ambient Guitars Vol 1". Both aptly descriptive titles.

He often samples household objects and found sounds, or uses a guitar as a sound-source, and treats, tweaks and effects the original sound into something new and interesting. An imaginative sound designer.

We are sure that these two unique loop-packs will be inspirational and useful for a variety of studio tasks. Build deep pads or interesting percussive patterns. All styles of music production and studio techniques will benefit from these collections.

Rolling Techno Loops

During the late 90s and early 00s, techno music in the big room had a distinctly rougher, compressed, and rolling edge than the post-minimal sounds that now populate most floors. During this era labels like Missle, Speaker Attack, Superbra, Eukatech, and Terminal M, were in mainstays in DJs record boxes. Slovenian DJ/Producer, Alenia, has recorded for all those labels and more.

While many left the pounding loops of that era behind to chase the digital dream, a distinct circle of heads remained true to the sound and pushed it further. Now the underground has heros on both sides of the fence, but if you prefer your techno full, chugging, and above 130 bpm, DJ Alenia has exactly what you need.

Three volumes of deadly techno loops ready for your tweaking pleasure. Enjoy.

Flute Loops

How about diving into a big bowl of flute loops? I mean really, who doesn't love a sweet sounding flute riff? Flutes work everywhere, from moody soundscapes to whimsical romps. Breakfast or just a snack, traditional songs or experimental excursions. A versatile and rich sound source from our featured artist, Justin Martin, for any palette.
